Take Me Away | Thomas Pender

Published on 3 May 2024 at 17:05

Take me to the stars.

A place where I belong.

Light up the moon.

When darkness falls upon.

Strong but humble.

Wounds filled with gold.

Slip and stumble

But never will I fold.

Gracious to be,

The sacred soul I am.

I’m happy for you,

I promise this my friend.

But I have to go.

Back to where I began…

A beautiful journey.

From here to back within.

Deep inside the earth.

Yet far above the clouds.

I’m entering my heart.

A teacher showed me how.

Knowledge from above.

Yet the teacher was within.

Taught me how to love,

And now I’m one with Him.

Take myself away.

So far into the truth.

Nothing really matters.

My lessons here are through.

Happy to have met you.

My purpose here is done.

I’m stepping into grace.

Combined with all as one.

C’est la vie
