Our Mission
This platform has been created for accessibility. To give amateurs and new writers that extra push of motivation and aid by having their contributions and work to be viewed by the world. Publishing is difficult, and more especially for young people in education, building a keen portfolio can also be a tricky process. Having a platform where young people can share their work with others whilst being easy-to-use, strives to give them their own platform necessary to move up in their educational career or future career in writing, teaching or whatever!
This platform was created by a University Student, Will Renshaw, someone who is also keen to push their work into the wider world. Having an inclusive and accessible platform built by someone our audience can refer to, compare themselves to, makes it the perfect place to share your poetry!
We aim to gain the trust and collaboration from schools and educational groups who may benefit from a social platform like this. Something for their students to use to get that extra merit for their work in the future. This is why we are New Poet's Society. Built by you.

Our Vision
At New Poet's Society, we aim to provide inclusive poetry workshops for new and amateur poets. Our interactive sessions focus on understanding your platform and audience, finding your unique writing methods, and discovering your personal writing style. We also aim to expand our series of work across our platforms so we can gain the necessary following to start branching out to proper publishers; becoming that stepping stone all people need to have their voices heard. The more work we receive, people contributing to others' work by commenting, sharing, we can then expand our community as far as we can!
Expand Your Reach
Once we have a stable and significant following, we have stated these following goals for expansion:
- Connect with schools to get their students involved on the platform.
- Reach out to publishers and/or fund our own publishing system for collections of work we receive.
- Expanding our community into the real world, hosting live workshops in-person.
- Introducing our Great People's Showcase, which will push out our best writers' work into professional collections.
- Collaborate with professional writers and poets so we can learn and advance from their experience and knowledge.
